Two DMAR Members Appointed as 2015 President’s Liaisons

DMAR wants to recognize and congratulate two of our members, Gretchen Rosenberg and Inge Frerichs, for being appointed as President’s Liaisons for 2015! These positions are appointed annually by the NAR President to serve Cooperating Associations in foreign countries, attending meetings, participating in events, representing NAR, and numerous other responsibilities including submitting annual reports throughout the year. Gretchen Rosenberg

Named “REALTOR® of the Year” by the Denver Board of REALTORS® in 2009 and “Broker Manager of the Year” in 2012, Gretchen Rosenberg has over 19 years experience in residential real estate. She was among the founding agents at Kentwood Real Estate’s Cherry Creek office after just two years in the real estate business.   Kentwood Real Estate is the most successful privately owned real estate firm in Denver.The National Association of REALTORS® ranked the Kentwood Company as one of the top 100 brokerages in the U.S. in 2009 and again in 2013. Kentwood consistently earns recognition as the brokerage with the highest sales volume per agent in the U.S. Gretchen Rosenberg personally closed in excess of $12 million in sales volume in 2014 and attributes her success to a thorough understanding of the Denver real estate market.

In order to better serve her clients, Gretchen operates a real estate blog for the Denver area,www.LifestyleDenver.com, and a real estate web site, www.GretchensDenver.com. Gretchen specializes in relocation into and out of Colorado, city neighborhoods, new construction, luxury real estate, and international real estate.

Gretchen has served on the Denver Board of REALTORS® Grievance Committee, International Committee, Roundtable Committee, and as a Director. She was on the Board of Directors at both the National Association of REALTORS® and Colorado Association of REALTORS® for 8 years from 2007 – 2014.

Gretchen is currently a member of the Denver Metro Association International Committee, the NAR Board Jurisdiction Committee, and is the NAR President’s Liaison to India for 2015. In 2006 and 2011 she was invited by the National Association of REALTORS®– India to be a guest presenter at their annual real estate conference in Mumbai and Hyderabad, and will attend the 2015 NAR – India real estate conference.

Inge Frerichs

Inge has been a REALTOR® for over 12 years and her passion for international real estate on a local level as well as in Europe, Belize, Panama and Costa Rica became her focus in 2004. She has been very active in the REALTORS® Global Business Alliance Committee since 2004, both as a chairman and a member on local, state and national level. In 2010 she was recognized by the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® for her volunteer work within the REALTOR® community and received the “President’s Distinguished Service Award.” She served as director of the Colorado Association and the National Association of REALTORS®.

Her involvement with the German American Chamber of Commerce since 2004 (Director 2009-2012) has enabled her to assist with trade missions for German companies on a local, state and national level. Fluent in German, English and “real estate speak,” she will continue setting “the sails high” for this important position as a President’s Liaison to Germany for 2015!
