At DMAR, we want to cultivate leaders who not only excel within our Association but also enrich our communities. That's why we are proud to announce the DMAR Leadership Academy, a transformative program designed to shape visionary leaders poised for success in both professional and personal realms.

It's a 10-month immersive journey, meticulously crafted to equip select members with the skills, knowledge and unwavering confidence needed to excel. We believe that the ingredients for success lie not only in professional expertise but also in personal growth - a philosophy deeply ingrained in every facet of our program.

  • Master the art of political advocacy, from local initiatives to national agendas.
  • Hone your public speaking and presentation skills to command attention and inspire action.

  • Develop a profound understanding of financial acumen, including budgeting and asset management.

If you're a visionary, a problem solver and thrive on challenges, we invite you to apply! The program is created for members who are interested in sharpening their leadership skills to help them exert a strong, positive influence on the future of Realtor® organizations and in their profession.

SELECTION AND COMMITMENT

Participation in the program is open to all DMAR Realtor® and Industry Partner members in good standing. Space is limited to no more than 25 attendees each year. Applicants selected for inclusion in the program must attend all sessions and pay a $499 tuition fee. This fee covers the sessions, handout materials and meals. Travel arrangements and expenses to attend the in-person sessions are the responsibility of the participant.

Session I: DMAR Unveiled (January 16, 2025)

Dive into DMAR's history, structure and vital departments following the Board of Directors meeting. Lunch and networking opportunities to foster connections among participants.

Session II: Advocacy Amplified (February 11, 2025)
IN PERSON 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Explore the realm of government affairs, Realtors® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and the art of lobbying at local, state and national levels. Engage in discussions with local elected officials.

Session III: Realtor® Ripple Effect (March 11, 2025)

Gain insights from representatives spanning state, regional and national Realtor® organizations. Unwind and network after during happy hour.

Session IV: Diversity Dialogues (April 15, 2025)

Participate in the 'At Home With Diversity® (AHWD)' class, fostering understanding and inclusivity in real estate.

Session V: Mastering Professional Standards (May 13, 2025)
