Episode 3 Moderator: Heather Heuer, PorchLight Real Estate Group

As a full-time real estate professional, Heather's goal is to make every transaction an experience worth remembering. She believes that communication is the key to get to a successful closing and works with each of her clients to ensure that she is using the correct mode of communication to meet their needs. With a sales and marketing background, she came into the real estate world because she enjoys the different challenges that each transaction requires. From coaching a first-time homebuyer about the nuances of a transaction to helping an experienced seller get top dollar in their marketplace, she brings a wealth of experience to the table and is not afraid to ask questions so she can provide the best solution to an issue. While traditional sales remain a large part of her business, it’s important for her to be knowledgeable about all aspects of the real estate industry. Heather likes to be up-to-date on the current greater Denver market so she has taken the time to become certified in both short sale and foreclosure transactions from both the buy and sell side perspective. This gives her clients an advantage when they enter the real estate market as she is better able to explain how the market in their area may or may not affect home sales. On a personal note, she is married with a young daughter, a son, a chocolate lab and two cats. She's an avid reader and enjoys gardening and baking — although she rarely eats anything that she bakes. And, she loves French fries.

Episode 3 Guest: Phil Shell, RE/MAX Alliance

Phil entered the real estate business in 1975 right out of high school. Currently, he works as the Managing Broker for nearly 100 real estate brokers in three offices of RE/MAX Alliance, the world's largest RE/MAX franchise.  In addition, Phil has been a coach and trainer for Integrative Mastery Programs for the past six years. His many years of observing human behavior has given him a unique perspective; he believes that the craziness of the marketplace today has created a great need for a higher level of professionalism and integrity.
