A Spring blizzard couldn't stop us from celebrating at the #1 REALTOR® event of the year!
On March 24th, one day after the city survived a fairly substantial Spring blizzard, about 800 attendees braved the winter-like conditions and gathered at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center to celebrate an absolutely amazing year of real estate and REALTOR® accomplishment at the 2016 DENVER METRO REALTORS® Excellence Awards. With 8 time Emmy award winning CBS 4 news anchor, Jim Benemann as the afternoon's emcee, the event honored those whose ambitions have elevated the industry and redefined the definition of success.
During the luncheon, 32 awards were given to recognize top sales production and top number of transactions for individuals and offices, as well as honor five special recognition recipients - Broker Manager of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Support Person of the Year, Community Service by an Individual, and Community Service by an Office. New to this year's event was the inclusion of the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) investment awards, which honored offices and individuals who have demonstrated a resounding commitment to RPAC and the protection of the real estate industry. With the help of a $5,000 drawing during the Excellence Awards, we raised a whopping $20,000 for RPAC!!!
The luncheon and award ceremony were followed by an exclusive after party event where attendees were able to network, mingle, and continue celebrating. It truly was an exceptional day filled with excitement, celebration, and fun! Big thanks to everyone who participated.
