RYAN CARTER

Ryan Carter, President of 8z Real Estate, has spent his career first dedicated to superior service for his clients as a top-performing agent, then as a Managing Broker. With his desire to mentor and lead, he built one of the largest and highest-performing agent teams in Denver. He continued to ascend the ranks and took the helm of 8z, becoming President in 2019. As he leads 8z forward, his focus lies in supporting agents’ growth and development, charting a pathway to partnership for 8z agents as well as guiding the trajectory of the brokerage. Since then, the company has expanded into new markets and continues to grow its agent productivity and average price point.

Founded in 2009, 8z is one of the most formidable brokerages in the state, closing more transactions and volume per average agent, than other comparable real estate professionals. This can be directly attributed to Ryan’s vision of a brokerage committed to sharing wisdom and fostering growth throughout the company.

A recognized industry expert, Ryan sits on the Real Estate Technology panel at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and has been featured in REAL Trends, Inman, Denver Post, 5280, BusinessDen and more. However, the most meaningful award Ryan has received was the Denver Metro Association of Realtors® “Managing Broker of the Year”, an award given based on his team’s fervent nomination.

He’s dedicated to supporting the local community, and helping Coloradoans achieve home ownership by leading the formation of 8z’s Keys4Life program. This initiative provides grants to first-time buyers as well as financial education on the intricacies of homeownership. In addition, Ryan has been actively involved in Greenhouse Scholars, a Boulder-based non-profit that provides holistic support to low-income, high-performing young role models and their endeavors. An advocate for education and equity, Ryan traveled to Haiti with the Road to Home program to help build community centers for area youth. Ryan is originally from Los Angeles but has called Denver home for more than two decades. He lives in Hilltop with his partner and enjoys traveling the world as frequently as possible. His passion and knowledge of design and architecture seamlessly complements his real estate expertise.
