April 13 | GRI Fair Housing [Class]
Think housing discrimination is a thing of the past? Think again. In 2018, over 30,000 complaints were filed across the U.S. and many violations are never even reported. Discrimination lurks in every corner of housing, including renting, lending and showing. As Realtors®, we are on the front line of defense against housing discrimination and education is the best tool to keep your business fair and free from liability. Join us for this 4 CE credit class and learn how you can be part of the solution, not the problem. Register Here

No matter where your clients are in the homebuying or selling process, invite them to attend this event for first-time homebuyers and sellers... and FYI, this is NOT your average housing fair. The day will include a keynote speaker, a panel of people who have been where they are (and have completed the homebuying process), informational booths and Q&A with top real estate experts so they can learn the ins and outs of homeownership. We’re here to demystify the homebuying and selling process. Register Here

The report reveals that the number of home flips in 2021 was up from 257,091 in 2020 to a total not seen since nearly 334,000 homes were flipped by investors in 2006. Last year’s flips represented 5.5 percent of all home sales in the nation during 2021, down from 5.8 percent in 2020 and 6.1 percent in 2019. But even as quick-turnaround sales by investors shot up, gross profit margins on home flips in 2021 sank to their lowest level in more than a decade after dropping at the fastest pace in more than 15 years. Read More
