Finding a Realtor®
If you are buying or selling real estate (or considering it), you will need a Realtor® who you can trust. And with so many Realtors® to choose from, you need to know what qualities to look for and how to find the right one for you. One of the most important things you need to look for is that they aren't just any real estate agent, they are a Realtor® - a member of the National Association of Realtors® who is held accountable to a higher and more rigorous standard of excellence. Realtors® take their career more seriously and outperform other agents. Don't just take our word for it though, compare the numbers yourself.
To narrow your search to just Realtors®, we recommend searching by area of interest on realtor.com. Use the portal below to get started!
You may prefer to search for a Realtor® based on their involvement and specialties. Explore the various certifications and designations a Realtor® may possess to get an idea of what kind of specialist you need. For example, if you are over the age of 50 and looking to sell your home, you may consider narrowing your search down to Realtors® who possess the Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) certification.
Finding Other Professionals
As a buyer or seller you will be working with a whole network of real estate professionals in addition to your Realtor® such as title companies, lenders, inspectors, stagers and more. Thankfully, DMAR has a directory full of real estate professionals of all different backgrounds. If you find yourself in need of a pro, start your search here!
