The Board of Directors of the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® (DMAR) - an organization comprised of over 7,000 real estate professionals and The Voice of Real Estate® in the Denver Metro area – announced today that it has named Amy Davies as chief operating officer (COO).

Davies joined DMAR as the accounting director in 2012 when she relocated to Denver from her hometown of Casper, Wyoming. She quickly moved up through the ranks and has been DMAR’s director of finance, operations and membership since 2013. As COO, Davies will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of DMAR.

“Amy has been an immensely valuable member of our leadership team for nearly a decade,” said Ann Turner, CEO of DMAR. “She has played an exceptional role in ensuring the overall financial health and stability of our Association, while maintaining our member-first philosophy and truly being a pleasure to work with every day.”

Prior to joining DMAR, Davies was a corporate controller for a Wyoming hotel management company, an accountant and legal administrator for a joint accounting and legal firm, and a para-professional accountant for a Big 8 accounting firm after graduating from Casper College.

Passionate about social activism, Davies was the Social Concerns Committee Food Bank Director for Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Casper, Wyoming. She was a dinner committee volunteer at the Matthew Shepard Foundation in Denver, and served on the Board of Directors for the Community Action Partnership in Casper, Wyoming.
