Chairman: Mark Lampert, Ann Lampert Realty, Inc.
Tell us about your expertise in the real estate industry.
I am a third generation REALTOR®. My family founded a real estate firm in 1948 specializing in sales and property management. The company was formed by my grandmother, Ann Lampert, who was one of the first female, licensed Real Estate Brokers in Colorado. The second generation, my father, Ed Lampert oversees the sales department and I handle the property management division. I have been doing this for over 33 years! I enjoy property management due to my background degree in Psychology and Accounting. I also sell when it involves my owners or tenants in our properties.
Tell us about the Election Committee.
I am chairing the Election Committee for the first time this year, following in the footsteps of my father, Ed Lampert, who I think has chaired this committee each year since the mid 1990's when it was just the Denver Board of REALTORS®. We used to hand count all the hundreds of ballots that were cast for the Board of Directors. Now, with the computer, we meet on the date the balloting closes and certify the results.
Why did you choose to be a part of this committee?
I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father in giving something back to Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®. I am involved in many other activities outside of real estate and this is how I can give something back to my profession.
