Amy Davies
Amy joined DMAR in February 2012 when she relocated to Denver from her hometown of Casper, Wyoming. Beginning her career as the Director of Accounting on the heels of the merger of the Denver Board of Realtors®, the Jefferson County Association of Realtors® and the North Metro Denver Realtor® Association, she quickly became passionate about being a part of developing the newly formed Association, DMAR.
Setting down roots in Denver, Amy quickly moved up through the ranks from Director of accounting to Director of Finance, Operations and Membership with added oversight over staffing, human resources, buildings and membership. In July 2020, she was promoted to Chief Operations Officer and oversees the day-to-day operational functions and administrative and human resources of DMAR. During her tenure, she served on the Diversity Alliance Committee and was the lead staff person in establishing the DMAR Gives foundation with CAR. Amy has twice been the recipient of the Chair’s Distinguished Service Award, once in 2019 and again in 2022.
Prior to joining DMAR, Amy was a corporate controller for Timberline Hospitalities, a Wyoming-owned and operated hospitality management company, an accountant for Cordell Fonnesbeck, CPA and a paraprofessional accountant for Fox and Company, a Big 8 accounting firm after graduating from Casper College.
Passionate about social activism, Amy was the Social Concerns Committee Food Bank Director for Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and served on the Board of Directors for the Community Action Partnership in Casper, Wyoming. While in Denver, she was involved in the dinner committee for the annual Bear to Make a Difference Gala for the Matthew Shepard Foundation and is a member of the Mama Bear Little Box of Rainbows Project, a private group that sends care packages to members of the LGBTQ+ community who need support and encouragement.
