Join our virtual DMAR Membership Meeting on March 15
Calling all DMAR members!
You're invited to attend a FREE member-only meeting and virtual presentation on March 15th. This is your chance to get your questions answered by Marcia Waters, Colorado's Director of the Division of Real Estate. Her presentation will cover forms the division is currently working on, several projects related to the real estate broker program, common complaints and issues that the division sees and an update on the license population numbers and complaint statistics. This is excellent information you won't want to miss! We'll also be joined by DMAR leadership to discuss and vote* on proposed amendments to the DMAR bylaws.
*You must be present to vote (camera must be on and you must be visible). Only Realtor® members of DMAR in good standing may cast their vote.

Tell Your Senator to OPPOSE HB 1115 and Save Affordable Housing
HB23-1115 has been amended to exempt buildings 15 years or newer, exempt nonprofit housing regulated by federal or state programs, allows local governments to apply rent control ordinances to mobile home parks, and creates a formula that limits the amount a housing provider can increase the rent. This bill, as amended, will make it harder for housing providers to rent out their properties in a time of housing supply need. Please send a pre-written message to your State Senator, urging them to OPPOSE HB 1115. Take Action

Denver housing inventory is low, but the “luxury market” is thriving
Analysts expected home prices to drop in 2023. That isn’t happening. Month-to-month, home prices rose. The median price of homes is $562,500, with houses at $600,000, and condos, duplexes and other attached units at $400,000.
