What is the SPC Program?
CAR’s advocacy power comes from its thousands of members statewide. The SPC program is a grassroots advocacy network that assigns one Realtor® to each Colorado State Legislator. As an SPC, you’ll be the key liaison between CAR and your assigned legislator, helping to influence important decisions that directly affect our industry.
What’s Involved?
As an SPC, you will:
- Have or be willing to build a relationship with your assigned state legislator.
- Dedicate about 4 hours per month during the legislative session.
- Participate in CAR’s Calls for Action to ensure our collective voice is heard on key legislative issues.
- Attend CAR meetings and events when appropriate.

Applications for the SPC program will be open from October 15th through November 15th. Until then, if you already have a relationship with a member of the state house or senate, please reach out to us! We want to make sure CAR knows about these connections when you submit your application.
