New Affiliate Chair-Elect: Shawn Maricle

We are pleased to announce Shawn Maricle as the New Affiliate Chair-Elect! Shawn has a very diverse background, which you can read more about below.

Shawn Maricle has been in the housing industry for over 20 years. He began as a closer and funder, before relocating to Costa Rica where he worked as a Real Estate Agent. Prior to moving to Costa Rica, he also joined the Air Force and attended the Community College of the Air Force where he became an Air Traffic Controller. Shawn also has his private pilot’s license. His diverse background has allowed him a number of memorable experiences, including being the featured REALTOR® on an episode of House. Shawn works to provide the best customer service and uses his world travels to relate to a variety of customers. 

Since becoming a member of DMAR, Shawn has been very active in all aspects of the Association by sponsoring and attending a multitude of events. He attends the West and Golden marketing meetings on a weekly basis, as well as the monthly Affiliate Council meetings.  Shawn was the first Affiliate ever to be elected to the Government Affairs Committee. He has been very involved in GAC and reports back to the Affiliates at their monthly meetings. Shawn is also an active volunteer on the DMAR High School Senior Scholarship Program task force.​

“As the Affiliate Chair-Elect, one of my goals will be to increase member to member business referrals within the Association. Right now, Affiliates are spending lots of time and money supporting the Association. My goal will be to show some appreciation by using those Affiliate businesses within DMAR.”
