Good luck, homebuyers. Denver’s housing inventory is lowest in 32 years

There were 3,878 residential properties available for sale at the end of February, the lowest monthly total in records going back to 1985. The inventory was 2.14 percent below the previous bottom reached in February 2016, according to a report Friday from the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®. Read more...

All-time record-low home inventory in metro Denver in February

Months of low housing inventory in metro Denver have turned into years, culminating with an all-time record-low for the number of active listings on the market in February, according to the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®. Active listings, including both single-family detached homes and attached properties like condos and townhomes, hit 3,878 in February, an all-time low for any month on record, DMAR said Friday. Read more...​

The Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® stated the median price gain for 2016 was 11.4%, which was less than the meteoric gain of 14.2% in 2015. Report: Fewer homes available in Denver than any month on record

Thousands of new homes are going up for sale in the Denver metro, but they’re being snapped up just as fast. As a result, the number of houses for sale hit an all-time record low in February. There were 3,878 total units listed last month, the lowest for any month on record, according to the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®. Compare that to February 2006, when buyers had their pick of nearly 26,000 homes. Read more...
