MLS Merger Update: Letter from Your Chairman

The Board of Directors of the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® is in full support of continuing talks with the IRES owners to bring the REcolorado/IRES merger to a successful conclusion. We will reach out to our northern neighbors to help resolve the remaining points of negotiation. DMAR stands resolute in consolidating the two MLS systems. We know from experience that merger talks are not easy and both sides must learn to compromise to do what is in the best interest of the members. Our brokers are demanding one MLS system and we are committed to making that happen. Our plan of action includes further discussions with our REcolorado Directors, the AEs of all eight Associations working on final steps, and meeting with our fellow REcolorado shareholders and the IRES owners to get this to the finish line.
