Who's Omar-Pierre Soubra?
Omar-Pierre Soubra, passionate innovator, is the Director, Marketing Communications for Trimble Integrated Technologies and Trimble Applanix Divisions (NASDAQ:TRMB), American corporation with $2.4 billions in revenue. Mr. Soubra has been with the company for the last 17 years, with different roles and responsibilities, from sales to product development, and marketing & communications, as well as different director level roles. In 2011, he created and developed the first Techno-Marketing group, a new and innovative department 
combining technologies and customer needs. He also developed several products for the construction, geospatial and architecture industries. He holds fourteen international patents, in products combining optics, long range 3d scanning and video camera solutions. In 2012, he was part of the team which acquired the SketchUp group from Google. Before working at Trimble, he worked for a subsidiary of the French power utility, EdF and for a joint-venture between Daimler and Thales.
In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Soubra is an angel investor in Le FabShop, on the leaders of digital fabrication services (3D printing, CNC, etc). He also holds several advisor and board member positions for US-based startups. In November 2011, he was elected President of the French American Chamber of Commerce, Rocky Mountain Chapter, a non profit organization focusing on nurturing business relationships between France and the US.
Mr Soubra is a TEDx speaker, where he premiered the concept of Innopassion, solving large issues with innovation and passion.
