February closed out with 3,963 active listings – representing a 6.11% decrease in inventory over the previous month and 2.84% decrease year-over-year.
According to our Market Trends Committee, in the last 30-year period (1985-2015), the 11-County Denver-area real estate market averaged 14,979 active listings in February. It hit a record high of 25,484 in 2006 and just closed out February 2016 with a historical low of 3,963 active listings.
