The Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® raised $9,654 during its 21-day challenge which ended April 28, 2020 to support HomeAid Colorado, a non-profit organization that works to fight homelessness in Colorado. The Association’s REALTOR® members, industry partners, local brokerages, friends, family, and neighbors participated in supporting this worthy cause.
“During this unprecedented time we are all facing unforeseen challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic; now, more than ever, we need to find ways to help the most vulnerable members of our community however possible,” said Ann Turner, CEO of DMAR.
“With the support of the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® generous members and partners, we are able to continue to help those at risk of facing homelessness or have become homeless in these hard times,” stated Cindy Bell, Executive Director of HomeAid Colorado. “We are so appreciative of the support of our community to help our most vulnerable neighbors.”
HomeAid Colorado brings together construction-industry professionals and affiliates to complete construction projects and provide critical resources to non-profit care providers who assist those in our community at a high risk of experiencing homelessness. The aim is to give a child a warm bed to sleep, a mother a safe place to rest and a family the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
