The Action Center School Supply Drive hosted by West District
WHEN: August 1, 2017 - August 31, 2017
WHERE: DMAR West Office | 950 Wadsworth Blvd Lakewood, CO 80214
WHAT: Help students in Jefferson County Public Schools be equipped with the school supplies they need to succeed by donating items such as backpacks, notebooks, markers, etc.! All items collected will go to directly to The Action Center for distribution which provides an immediate response to basic human needs, as well as promoting pathways to self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and the homeless.
Please see below for the full list of items in need. If your office would like to collect, you can request a donation box from Billie Emas at bemas@dmarealtors.com or drop items off at the DMAR West Office collection box.
About The Action Center
The Action Center’s mission is to provide an immediate response to basic human needs and promote pathways to self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and the homeless.
Our vision is to be a fluid and financially sound agency that identifies and responds to the basic human needs of the residents of Jefferson County.
The Action Center’s goal is to give clients a continuum of services to meet their current needs and the means to become self-sufficient. It is through the following programs that The Action Center gives help, provides hope and builds dignity while breaking the cycle of poverty:
