Speakers: 

Paul C. Bishop, Ph.D., Vice President Research, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®

Paul Bishop is the Vice President for Research at the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Dr. Bishop leads a team of economists that conduct real estate business and policy analysis and comprehensive member and consumer survey research. 

 
Prior to joining NAR in 2001, Dr. Bishop was a Senior Financial Economist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Between 1991 and 1996, Dr. Bishop was a Senior Economist at the WEFA Group in the Regional Consulting and Forecasting Group where he managed the state and metropolitan area forecasting service and worked with clients on numerous consulting projects
 
Dr. Bishop is a frequent speaker at REALTOR® association events and commentator on market trends. Dr. Bishop participates in the Harvard Industrial Economists Roundtable and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Housing Research and the editorial review panel for the REALTOR® University Rosenthal Center for Real Estate Studies.
 
Dr. Bishop earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and resides in Alexandria, Virginia.

 

Tracey Wilson, CES®, Vice President of IPX1031®

 

For the most recent 12 years, Tracey has been a Senior Consultant and Managing Director of Business Development, and now Vice President of IPX1031®, helping facilitate 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges.  

Prior to joining IPX1031®, Tracey had over 13 years of investment banking experience with Credit Suisse First Boston in New York and Zurich, and Merrill Lynch in New York, Denver, and Hong Kong. He is a certified instructor with the State of Colorado Real Estate Division, Colorado State Bar Association, and the Colorado Society of CPAs providing CE accredited classes.

Tracey has been an adjunct faculty member of Regis University teaching accounting, finance, economics, and statistics. He has a BS in Finance and Engineering, an MBA in Finance, and is currently working on his MS in Accounting.

 

Anthony Rael, REALTOR®, Chair of DMAR's Market Trends Committee

A proud Denver native and sixth-generation Coloradan, Anthony attended Regis University and spent a decade working in the technology sector, first as Director of Marketing for SuperNet (Qwest Communications) then as Founder and CEO of a privately-held internet consulting firm in Boulder serving clients in the US and abroad.

Anthony served two years on the Board of Directors for the Jefferson County Association of REALTORS® (JCAR) and also served on the Board of Directors for the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® during the Association merger between the JCAR, DENVER & NMDRA boards and continues to serve on DMAR's Professional Standards Committee.  He is a full-time REALTOR with RE/MAX Alliance and has served as Chairman of DMAR’s Denver Metro Real Estate Market Trends Committee since its inception in 2014.  His group is committed to helping position DMAR as "The Voice of Real Estate in the Denver Metro Region" by compiling and producing a market statistics report as a value-added benefit for DMAR’s 5,500+ REALTOR members, as well as servicing as a conduit to local, regional and nation media outlets to ensure timely, accurate and consistent real estate stats & trends in Denver Metro area. Anthony also serves as a media spokesperson for Regional Real Estate Market on behalf of the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (CAR).  

Anthony is a multi-year recipient of RE/MAX’s 100% Club; multi-year recipient of DMAR’s REALTOR® Roundtable of Excellence Awards and two–time recipient of the DMAR Chairman's Distinguished Service Award.
