Tyrone Adams, CEO Colorado Association of REALTORS®
Tyrone Adams joined the Colorado Association of REALTORS® in 1993 where he now serves as CEO. The University of Northern Colorado graduate has been instrumental in the development and implementation of member programs, education initiatives, communications strategies and oversight of the association’s annual meeting and convention. The association has more than 21,000 members, and as CEO, Adams oversees the group's mission, operations, finances, member services, communications and government relations.
Mark Trenka, Chair-elect, Colorado Association of REALTORS®
Mark Trenka is the broker/owner of CENTURY 21 Trenka Real Estate. A second generation REALTOR®, Trenka worked in the automotive industry and in mortgage lending before joining his father and mother in the family business. Since taking on the leading role at the company, he has overseen more than 750 transactions totaling over $150 million in sales. As dedicated as he has been to the success of his company and delivering outstanding service to his clients, Trenka makes considerable time for leadership roles in real estate in Colorado. He chaired the board of directors of REcolorado from 2013-15 and the Legislative Policy Committee of the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (2013-15). Mark served as president of the Denver Board of REALTORS® (DBR) from 2009-10 and led the leadership team that in 2012 merged the Denver, Jefferson County, and North Metro Denver boards of REALTORS® into the 6000-member Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® (DMAR). Trenka now serves as Chair-elect for the Colorado Association of REALTORS®.
Richard Del Valle, Education, Training & Compliance, Real Estate Division, DORA
Richard Del Valle manages the education, training and compliance functions for the Division of Real Estate. Del Valle has over five years of experience in mortgage related fields and has over ten years of experience in training and training development for mid to large size organizations. Del Valle’s role with the Division of Real Estate is focused on growing the quality of educational experiences available to licensees by working with education providers and developers to ensure brokers have access to valuable information that will improve their competency. Del Valle also strives to keep Division staff up-to-date with industry news and events by inviting experts to speak to staff regarding new and trending issues that licensees must navigate. Del Valle believes that education is the key to success and works hard to bring as many educational opportunities to staff and licensees as possible.
